What will I learn during the apprenticeship?
As a construction mechanic (m/f/d), you will learn how to work with sheet metal and steel pipes, including:
- Reading and understanding technical drawings
- Welding
- Manufacturing steel constructions
- Processing, shaping, and joining metal
- Producing and assembling complete components
- Precise work on various machines
The apprenticeship is similar to that of an industrial mechanic, with a stronger focus on welding.
What do I need to be able to do?
To become a construction mechanic (m/f/d), you primarily need a strong interest in technology. Specifically, this means:
- Intermediate school certificate or secondary school leaving certificate with good grades in mathematics and technical subjects
- Manual skills

What are the working hours?
During the apprenticeship:
Monday – Friday: 06:00 – 14:45
30 days of vacation
After the apprenticeship:
5-day work week with working hours by arrangement

Where do I attend school and what will I earn during and after the apprenticeship?
The training to become a construction mechanic takes place in blocks at the company and through the umbrella organization in the form of training courses.
The apprenticeship salary is based on the collective agreement
Sonntag Rohrkomponenten GmbH provides a monthly allowance for travel expenses.
