History
We like to look back on a few very special milestones in our company’s history, while continuously working to become even better in the future!
1991 – Production hall
A double garage served as the production facility, equipped with a bending roller, a welding machine, and the necessary tools for manufacturing pipe components. At the same time, preparations began for the construction of a production facility, which was ready for occupancy in the spring of 1991.
1995 – Expansion & Investments
In the following years, the production range was continuously expanded. Investments were made in modern production machinery and in the qualification of employees. The expertise in welding technology also contributed to the company’s strong performance.
2012 – Strong partner
Today, we are a strong partner for pipeline construction, pressure vessel construction, the offshore industry and mechanical engineering.
1990 – Foundation
In October 1990, the company Sonntag Technisches Schweißen was founded.
1993 – Reorganization
The sole proprietorship was converted into a GmbH, and Sonntag Rohrkomponenten GmbH was established.
1996, 2000, 2008 – Construction measures
Further construction measures in 1996, 2000 and 2008 continuously expanded our capacities. The workforce grew in line with these expansions to 14 employees, not least due to the continuous hiring of our trainees.
2013 – New building
Since February 2013, with the construction of an additional production hall with 1,000 sqm of floor space, we have created the capacity to manufacture large components weighing up to 20 tons.
